Data protection guidelines

HUGO VOGELSANG GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter referred to as „HUGO VOGELSANG“) processes personal data that is collected upon visiting on our websites, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the supplementary provisions under German law.

Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers for whom these data protection regulations do not apply.

HUGO VOGELSANG respects your right to privacy. 

Where terms such as „personal data“, processing“ or „controller“ are used, these are intended to be understood as per the definitions set out in Article 4 of the GDPR.


Stored data and cookies

When you visit our websites, our web servers store the IP address of your Internet service provider, the website you came to us from, the HUGO VOGELSANG websites/pages you visit, as well as the ate and duration of your visit.

It is not possible for us as a website operator to identify you based on the information we collect. HUGO VOGELSANG uses cookies to track user preferences and design our websites in the most effective way possible.

Where required for the delivery of services, your data will be shared with other companies within the BILSTEIN GROUP for the purpose for which it was collected. Your data shall not currently be shared with entities in non-EU countries which the EU does not deem to have an adequate level of data protection. Where this is required, for example, due to use of cloud services, HUGO VOGELSANG will take all the necessary measures to secure your data in that non-EU country, as prescribed by the GDPR.


Duration of use: 

We shall store your data for as long as we can assume there is potential interest on your part. When this is no longer the case, we will erase your information.
